We have Several overnight programs depending on your child's age
overnight camp for 1st - 9th graders
1st Grade - 3rd Grade Program (Weekend Program)
This camp is for children entering 1st grade to leaving 3rd grade and will be from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. Campers must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (must be 18+) of the same gender for the weekend. A group of kids up to 3 may be accompanied by one parent/guardian of the same gender. Boys and girls will do some activities separate and some as a group. Check in is 3-4 PM on Friday and dismissal will be 2 PM on Sunday. This is both a good taste of overnight camp for younger campers and a great experience for parents/guardians and their kids. Come have a lot of fun at Kaleo, and make some memories.
3rd Grade - 6th Grade Program
Our program is centered around learning about Jesus while having tons of fun. We will engage in times of worship, learn about local and world missions during mission study, have daily cabin Bible studies, as well as experience many outdoor activities like canoeing in our lake, bridge-jumping, low ropes, swimming in the pool, and hiking. Our staff are a huge part of what makes camp at Kaleo special, and they always incorporate a fun twist to everything we do from silly names for candy and drinks at canteen to goofy skits and hosting a campfire night.
7th Grade - 9th Grade Program
Our program for older kids has the same core activities as 3rd-6th grades including worship, cabin Bible devotions, missions study, as well at pool, lake activities, and games. They get an opportunity to build on those experiences in a way that is tailored to their ages. Male campers in 7th through 9th grades stay in our open-air adirondack cabins that we call the Daks. The Daks have three walls with the fourth wall open to the woods. There is a bath house with electricity and running water at the Daks. Female campers in 7-9th grades stay in a separate cabin from the younger girls. Older girls are nicknamed the “OGs.” Both girls and guys have separate programs from the younger children and gender-specific activities on their own as groups.
